We present to you the final result of the Desired Hearts x Volume Bike Co. Cutter frame. Congrats to Jeff “Backstabbin” Puckett for winning the frame last weekend at Ride the Republic. We hooked up with him earlier today between quarters of the Dallas/Atlanta game so we could get some pics of it fully built out.
THANK YOU again to Brian Castillo and the rest of the Volume peeps for reaching out and making this happen! And thank you Peru for your matchmaking skills.

So this weekend, Bryan, TX played host to the first annual Rock the Republic, billed as a “Spectacle of Sight and Sound.”
With more than 100 acts over the 3 day event, attendees got to enjoy a diverse line-up including spoken word poetry, hip-hop, southern rock, electro pop, dance, folk, soul, and I’m sure a couple of other genres I didn’t catch. And the little detail that made this event so special, is that all the artist were from right here in the Lonestar State.
Something we shared with the festival was our Creative Director, Roby Fitzhenry. He and the rest of the team did a great job of finding great talent and organizing an event that will surely return even more successful in future years.

Here’s a sneak peek of the super exclusive Cutter frame we’re collaborating with Volume Bikes on. Again, the only way to win this beast is to win the freestyle fixed gear jam during Ride The Republic, a “spectacle” of Rock The Republic. Ever heard of Downtown Bryan, Texas? That’s alright because you will soon. DH is happy to sponsor an awesome event in our base city called Rock The Republic, “a spectacle of sight and sound.” RTR fuses some of the best music Texas has to offer, along with the world’s best spoken word poets and tons of urban artists. One of the “spectacles” is Ride The Republic, a huge fixie jam to show who holds the title belt in the Lone Star State. Expect more announcements as soon as we have them because we may have a massive collaboration under our belt.
